Formal Title:  QA/QC Supervisor – Rotating Equipment

Location:  Deer Park, Texas

Directed by:  Operations Management

Reports to:  Corporate Quality Manager

Compensation: Salaried; varies depending on experience


Position Summary:

Supervise all aspects of quality control in relationship to our finished products and services. Must maintain and/or develop working knowledge of applicable industry standards, and UPS quality policies and procedures. Must perform assigned duties in a safe manner, and ensures employees comply with established quality programs and safe work habits.



  • Assist operations with development and communication of quality plans for all projects within their specific profit center(s) upon project initiation and see it through to completion.
  • Assistance with development of standard quality packages based on project scope and equipment type.
  • Provide mentoring and training to operations supervision regarding the quality expectations, and discuss the importance.
  • Attend operations meetings, boot camps, etc., to maintain a comprehension of opportunities for quality improvement, identify areas of concern with on-going and up-coming projects, and to build relationships with operations management and supervision.
  • Identify voids in our quality system regarding technical procedures and/or data sheets during the project initiation phase and prior to execution.
  • Perform pre-job audits regarding quality plans and packages within their specific profit center(s).
  • Perform in-process audits on projects in the field within their specific profit center(s).
  • Perform completion audits on final documentation of projects prior to archiving within their specific profit center(s).
  • Perform quality audits on non-UPS subcontractors within their specific profit center(s).
  • Assist the Corporate Quality Manager with Nonconformance and customer complaint investigations within their specific profit center(s).
  • Development Nonconformance reports for all nonconforming conditions within their specific profit center(s).



  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience of Journeyman Millwright or NCCER Millwright working on, with, and around rotating equipment in a craftsman, supervisor, or technical advisor capacity. Equipment knowledge shall include, but not be limited to,:
    • Reciprocating Compressors
    • Centrifugal Compressors
    • Pumps
    • Gearboxes
    • Fin-Fans/Air Coolers
  • Must be able to work in a willing to travel as required based on project needs
  • Must be able to function in a construction/refinery environment (lifting, climbing, exposure to outdoor climates, etc.) and pass a drug screening and a criminal background check
  • General comprehension of Safe Work Permitting, PPE requirements, Job Safety Analysis development, etc.
  • Must be responsive; position requires 24/7 availability

Guard 1 Services, LLC company is looking for a professional security guard to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and report any and all illegal or inappropriate actions.

  • Opens gate to allow entry or exit of employees, truckers, and authorized visitors.
  • Performs security patrols of designated areas, on foot or in vehicle. (varies by client site)
  • Records on (IPAD) all vehicles entering the premises
  • Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety concerns.
  • Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Notifies Supervisor of any emergencies or day to day operational issues.
  • Investigates and prepares reports on accidents, incidents and suspicious activities.
  • Follows job work instructions.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


  • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Must be able to pass any Client-specific training requirements


  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the State
  • Must have access to reliable transportation
  • Must not use illegal drugs.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test with a negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment)
  • Must be able to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and Department of Motor Vehicle.


  • Environment: Indoor and Outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat
  • Major activity: Walking, standing for a minimum of 8 hours; speaking, listening and observing.
