Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of millwright experience, possess a full set of millwright tools, and willing to travel around gulf coast area. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and repair machinery.
- Perform precision alignment and calibration of equipment.
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Troubleshoot and repair rotating machinery, such as pumps, turbines, and conveyors.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of millwright experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
- Possess a full set of millwright journeyman tools.
- Dependable transportation and willing to travel around the Gulf Coast area.
- Valid TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Must pass background check.
- Must pass drug screen & hair follicle.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
This position will be union and have per diem if you travel more than 60-70 miles depending on contract with each location.
