Summary of Position

Universal Plant Services is in need of a Contract Analyst to work with our Contracts Division. This position will be responsible for accurately validating, transferring, and entering data, maintaining various reports, document control, and assisting team members with various other duties.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Able to work Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.
  • Validate data to conform with daily business practices and procedures.
  • Verify job setup templates in Vista and other internal programs.
  • Data transfer and entry.
  • Create compensation rates using local wage data.
  • Track union updates.
  • File union wage documents.
  • Create contract summaries for Timekeeping and Billing from client contracts.
  • Enter billing and payroll rates into Vista.
  • Assist in Proposal process.
  • Provide answers to miscellaneous questions.
  • Review and redline commercial terms and proposals.
  • Ability to review/process large amounts of data.
  • Annual commercial rate updates and evaluations.
  • Document control.
  • Familiarity with and ability to comprehend contract language.

Experience and Education

  • 2 years professional office experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Oil and gas industry experience a plus.
  • Degree a plus.

Skills and Attributes

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Viewpoint and SharePoint desired.
  • Familiar with contracts.
  • Attention to detail.
  • 10-key proficiency.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact well with coworkers and management from all departments.
  • Detailed oriented and organized.
  • Willingness to assist others as needed.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Steady phone and email interactions.
  • Requires considerable concentration and focus with a constant workload.
  • Above average concentration/intensity, which includes prolong mental effort.
