Field QC Technician

Summary of Position

A Quality Control (QC) Field Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of products or materials in the field. This involves performing various tests, inspections, and measurements to verify that the products or systems meet required specifications and industry standards. The role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and strong communication skills. This is a contract position located in Ohio.

Essential Job Requirements

• Maintain constant field presence and perform Quality audits of jobs, ensure all company Quality paperwork is being filled out and signed by appropriate customer and company staff.
• Write and maintain daily logs of activities and issues and track any issues to resolution.
• Nightshift QC will review all paperwork, enter the forms into the appropriate files (electronic and hard copies).
• The end of shift rollovers will be performed in person with the site PM.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the company PM will be performed as well.

Required Education

•  High school diploma required; or equivalent

 Required Experience & Skills

• Must have working knowledge or Reciprocal Compressors
• Must know Alignment of BOP pumps and motors
• Must understand pipe strain
• Millwright Journeyman or higher experience level
• Must be an intermediate level user of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must have a valid driver’s license and no DUI’s
• Must have a valid TWIC card
• Able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass Drug screen with possible hair follicle test
• Position will be night shift, out of state with paid per diem and overtime, duration is 50 days+/-

Hourly range: $45-55 per hour based on experience

Night Shift: 7 days a week 12 hours a day.

Duration is 50 days +/-
