JOB SUMMARY:

Universal Plant Service Center has IMMEDIATE openings for experienced Mechanics and Machinists for our Deer Park facility. Our primary business focus is in Rotating Equipment overhauls and repairs on Centrifugal and Reciprocating Compressors, Pumps and Turbines, specialty manufacturing, component fabrication, etc.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· The Employee will perform manual machine work on components for Compressors, Turbines, Pumps, Blowers, Conveyors, and other components as necessary.

· Will operate manual machine equipment to include manual lathes, vertical mills, drill press & saws.

· Perform operations such as manufacture of new shafts, turn & undercut shafts, thread cutting, broaching keyways, boring, and sleeve manufacturing

· Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

· 2 to 5 years of machine shop experience

· GED, Trade School, or High School Diploma
