Job Summary:

Universal Plant Services is in search of a Turbine Mechanic (Full-time) to work in our shop located in Deer Park Tx. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment, including electrical systems, engines, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities:

– Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles and equipment, including electrical systems, engines, and hydraulic systems.
– Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions.
– Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of vehicles and equipment.
– Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete repair jobs in a timely manner.
– Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and inspections performed.
– Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions about vehicle or equipment repairs.

Skills:

– Strong knowledge of electrical systems in vehicles and equipment.
– Experience working with Caterpillar machinery is preferred.
– Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required.
– Previous experience working in a dealership or service technician role is a plus.
– Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients in a professional manner.
– Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in vehicles and equipment.
– Familiarity with sales processes related to automotive or equipment repair is beneficial.
– Solid understanding of automotive repair principles and techniques.
– Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete repair jobs efficiently.
