Universal Plant Services receives the 30th Annual Houston Safety Excellence Gold Award
UPS was nominated by ExxonMobil and Dow Chemical for the outstanding record for on-the-job safety at the site in 2016 enabling us to compete for this prestigious award. The Safety Excellence Awards process reviews OSHA criteria and designated program material to select finalist. After finalist are selected, HBR then sends teams of volunteers, made up of owner and contractors, to evaluate each company. The teams are assembled and assigned to visit the finalist work site and conduct a comprehensive evaluation of over one hundred safety audit items. Universal Plant Services is thrilled to receive this top award in the Hard Crafts Large category.
